    1. Why I decided to read this book:At first I was a bit reluctant to read this novel because my friend said it was the saddest book in the series. However, I couldn't not read the book because then, I knew I wouldn't be able to carry on reading the rest of the series.Category:This book was part of the 'a book with a male main character' category. I think that this category was interesting for me because it was a male perspective, which made me realise that the think differently from a female/me.Fav [...]

    4. In the book The Fall by Robert Muchamore, James Adams has almost been killed undercover in Russia and now he might be kicked of the organization he works for. James is a part of a secret British organization called Cherub, it is made up of smart orphan kids, who can go undercover to gain information for the British government. James thinks that an ex-Cherub is trying to kick him out of Cherub, so James must follow the ex-Cherub to catch him in the act of working with the wrong people. I think th [...]

    5. James Adams is in Russia on a mission when something goes terribly wrong. Nobody knows if he'll make it out alive. Meanwhile, Lauren is on her first solo mission trying to uncover a human-trafficking agency. She has always been brave, but this mission is scaring her. She wants to make sure that nobody gets hurt. But when she was so close to getting the victim safe, something horrible happens. Lauren has a plan that will almost certainly go as planned. But when she gets a pat-down, Lauren only ha [...]

    6. Like all the other CHERUB books it is entertaining and humourous but, unfortunately, there isn't really a coherent story line and nothing much happens in the story with regards to character development. An unfortunate disappointment.

    7. I don't think this book is for the kids. The complexity and epicness is off the charts. Dana is epic.

    9. Human trafficking is a global problem and one of the world's most shameful crimes which 'The Fall' concentrates on as Lauren's first solo mission. The book's main focus is the relationships between the different characters with Lauren (James' younger sister) paired off with the Russian girl Anna. James interaction with the other characters has expanded including training with Bruce Norris and red shirt Kevin Sumner as well as taking more interest in Dana Smith and starting an unexpected relation [...]

    10. In The Fall by Robert Muchamoore a teenage spy named Alex has his mission compromised in Russia and his fellow agent, and sister, is captured by human traffickers. With both of them missing, Cherub is on the brink of stopping all child spy missions.Human trafficking is one of the biggest issues for girls in third world countries. When young girls are taken from their orphanages and forced to have sex with older men, it's very hard to return the girls to their home and shut down the brothel. When [...]

    11. Have to say, not pleased with the whole situation with prostitutes that Lauren finds herself in. I keep thinking about it, about how when the girls are found they just get shipped back to their country where many are picked up again. I think that needs to change-however very happy that Muchamore doesn't shy away from tough subjects and is brutally honest when the system is not perfect. Dana and James sneaking off campus- perhaps the best part of the series so far. I was fairly pissed that Kerry [...]

    13. Totally loved the on-campus aspect of this one. As a lover of boarding school stories, I've been a little frustrated with previous books by the lack of campus time we get, and this went a long way to rectifying that.Fired off all sorts of inspiration for how Cherub could link in with Spooks and The Bill (can you see Reg trying to deal with Cherub? He'd totally work out what was going on and everyone else would declare "conspiracy theory".) Lauren, and the brother-sister relationship between her [...]

    16. The overall storyline was rather interesting. Uncovering a human trafficking operation where people were selling orphans into the business was an interesting premise. But I digress, there were deep problems lying within this book. James has always been an iffy character for me. He has shown both good and bad qualities throughout the series, but I thought that in the last few books that he had started to settle down. I thought that he had stopped floating from girl to girl and treating them all [...]

    17. After reading The Fall by Robert Muchamore I thought it was a very interesting book because it had a lot of action and adventure. The book starts when James was on a solo mission in Russia and was trying to retrieve intel on an oligarch named Obiden who was trading weapons to the black market. By retrieving the info he had to go undercover and be and english teacher and thought Obidens only son english for primary school. But when James got home to his caretakers for the mission and also spies t [...]

    18. I like this book but the hearing drives me mad. At least James finally gets his black shirt though. Kerry annoys me as she's just bitter and grumpy all the time but James is portrayed to be too much of an asshole with cheating on her and trying to push her to have sex and it gets really old because James is supposed to be a good game.

    19. I like the overall tone of this book. Lauren becomes slightly less annoying, although we're still not over the whole black shirt thing. James is a bad ass superstar and second time of reading the books Dana is much less annoying. I just wish James got his black shirt in a better way. Seemed like a bit of a cop out that he got it whilst not actually on a mission.

    24. The Fall has to be one of my favourite Cherub novels so far! Robert Muchamore has a style of writing that never fails to amuse me. Laurens solo mission had me on the edge of my seat especially during the escape of the brothel! This novel showed a new side of Lauren that I hadn't yet seen. A more bad ass, strong person than usual. James on the other hand got up to his same antics and I enjoyed it all the same. James has moved on from Kerry and is trying to cope with that. This novel the sexual co [...]

    26. This series just keeps on getting more and more exciting! This book begins with Mr Large having a heart attack and doesn't slow down from there. It was really interesting to see a mission go really wrong for once and James having to actually use some of the survival skills that he learnt in basic training. I also enjoyed Lauren going on her first solo mission.I think that the part with (view spoiler)[ Mr Pike encouraging James to believe that Ewart was untrustworthy and going to use him as a scap [...]

    27. As the second book in the CHERUB series I’ve read, the introduction was confusing, but after that, it sucked me in. I related with the characters, much like the first book I read of the series, and the book isn’t afraid to go into R-rated topics.
