    1. This was my first foray into reading Star Trek fiction. I love the original series and TNG desperately and have dabbled a little bit into DS9 and Voyager. It was interesting to think of some stories from new perspectives, but this certainly isn't required reading. There are a couple really stellar stories though (no pun intended).
