    2. A really nice discussion of knits from Iceland, Norway, Sweden and Shetland. While none of the knits were my asthetic, the patterns are gorgeous and appear to be well-written. There are techniques that are new to me (e.g. twined socks) and a nice variety of patterns for women. I would have enjoyed the book more if there was more discussion of the types of knits from each of the four areas discussed.

    3. I love just about every pattern in this book and can actually envision myself wearing the items in here, as opposed to most books in that I really only like 2 or 3 patterns. My only wish is that they had included a few patterns for menswear.

    4. Very pretty. I like nearly all of the patterns in this book (even the sweaters I outright dislike still have lovely photography) and would happily make at least half of them. My birthday is in five weeks (hint hint).

    9. Some lovely patterns that I might like to try, but nothing that has me ignoring the fact that it's August and picking up my needles.
