As he is the number one suspect, he begs for her help. That means she will have to go to Canada to help him and she just started an new relationship with yummy Detective Cody Lumos.     7. A Recommended Read!Murder, She Slopes is the second book featuring the trials and tribulations of Penelope Trubble. I loved it as much as the first book! I like that we are getting to learn about all of the characters and their idiosyncrasies. It makes for a very entertaining reading session.     8. Penning Trubble has trouble show up like a bad penny! She can't resist a mystery, even if it involves her jerk face ex - especially if his aged mother begs for her help. Skiing and slaying abound. Tangled family and romantic histories, and some steamy scenes with her hunky detective beau. Yum!I was pleased to receive an advance copy.     10. Well written cosy mystery that is a fun adventure to read. Great plot and easy to read story that has enough surprises that you don't know what will happen next. I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book. Highly recommend it as a great book to read.
