    1. DisappointedI should not have completed this book. I was hoping for a revelation, miracle or something to turn these heathens back to God. It never happened, so for me there was no point to the story. Surely not what I expected and there's no point in reading the next installment.

    2. Urbanlatians 3:16 saysEverybody in this damn book need to be delivered these hands. I have to go take communion after this one, well actually a glass of Moscato. I was not ready even after reading the synopsis which I rarely read. Chapter 9 was the take off point for me. From there the story got wilder. These bible toters are on a whole other level. There ain't enough prayers in the world that could redeem them. To be honest I don't know who was worse between either marriages. They all had skele [...]

    3. Too muchShe's an Evangelist whose husband used to be her boss from the strip club then became her pimp. She's cheating on him with the Pastor who is also married and under cover gay. I couldn't finish this book, it's too much for me

    5. DiscomfortingI knew from the beginning when the pastor (using this word lightly) said call him Jerome something was wrong. That's why God said some will say on that day Lord Lord didn't I do all these things in Your name and the Lord is going to say depart from me. This is why there is no power like it should be in our churches now SIN d to think this is really happeningSAD. the world doesn't respect when we say we are Christian because of all this bad carrying on.even in the church.wow and eye [...]

    8. Not a Christian FictionI couldn't understand if Christian the detailed of sex was too much for me. And I don't feel it made for Christian reading personally. But other than that it would have been a pretty good read.

    15. SpeechlessThe so called church folks in this book left me speechless. Between all the secrets & extra marital affairs, they still considered themselves to be doing the work of the Lord. I can't say anyone in book learned from their mistakes, but interested to see what happens in book 2.

    16. Real ChristianA very good read. It is about time the exposure of what happens in the churches. We all pretend instead and lie to ourselves. This is just one good look at the facades that church folks imitate. We are all human and you can only pretend as long as God allows.

    17. Very good read with intriguing characters & a storyline that held my attention. Terri had more than enough drama in her life! It seems at every turn the Evangelist was getting caught up in another situation. Jerome & his wife Julia were thorns; husband Richard was helpful but hurtful @ times. All characters played a vital role & fit well in the story. I enjoyed this story but I really think Terri needs a lil bit more prayer to get out of this mess! So ready to read the next part!

    19. I got this book without even reading the synopsis. I loved the cover so I one-clicked annnnnd What a read. This book was a look into the dark side of what goes on inside the lives of some Christians. Just because you attend church every Sunday, choir practice, bible study, etc does not mean you're Saved and Sanctified. All of these characters were twisted with their hidden agendas and secrets which made for one serious page turner. This book had minimal errors but nothing that took away from the [...]
