    1. Re Forbidden Enchantment - WooHoo! Patricia Wilson takes us on a jungle road trip with danger abounding all around and we get Giant Explosions of the actual real explosion kind. The h is 24 and a tiny fairy tale moonbeam blonde who gets word that her older brother Kip has been injured on his big dam engineering project in Africa. This worries the h, because she and her brother are orphans who have a fairly dithery but really sweet aunt and the h really loves her brother. She is also really sharp [...]

    2. Well, I'm happy. I had heard about this book, but I finally got a chance to read it today and it did not disappoint. The first half is an adventure story as the heroine goes to Africa to find her injured brother and ends up with a hunky hero and a walk through the jungle to escape from rebels. The second half is an angst fest as the heroine (and hero) try to go back to their everyday lives after a very intense experience. I don't want to spoil the plot, because part of the fun was going along wi [...]

    3. Tiny blonde PhD student Andrea arrives in imaginary Madembi in search of her brother Kip. Her useless fluffy auntie got a call that Kip had been in an accident, but there’s no further news. Kip’s an engineer with a dam building company, and Andrea has decided that the lack of progress updates is because dam builders are useless at both communicating and getting injured people to hospital, so she’ll have to do it herself.Andrea is accustomed to uselessness in everyone but Kip, so she has a [...]

    4. ok read, but definitely not one of her best. These two irritated me with their secrets, pride and arrogance. Things also felt repetitive.

    7. i simply love it! it was definitely a forbidden enchantment on both parts! i especially love the part where heroine was hurting because the author made it so tangible/so real. Kane was very obviously captivated by Andrea from the first ! she was nothing but a terrible nuisance from the word go! i love their little adventure and when they met again in real life, sparks flew! John added a little spice to the story and it served Kane well for being too sure of himself when he wud return into Andrea [...]

    8. Not her best but a solidly different story about we found love in a hopeless place. Cute and at times emotional. A fast entertaining read on your treadmill.

    9. Well, this couple sure was pathetic. Pathetically all over each other—and the angst, OH THE ANGST!

    10. It was ok. I won’t summarise the story as some other reviewers did a good job of it already. It kinda fell flat for me since the misunderstanding went on a bit too long and it could easily have been resolved if the H just explained better to the heroine from the start. Also I didn’t quite like how the Hero was always cold and harsh with the heroine simply because he was fighting his feelings for her.
