    1. Review copy courtesy of the publisher via NetGalley.**This is a DNF review**I saw and liked the cover and I read and liked the description. But what I read did not live up to my meager expectations. I made it to 25% before I gave up on this book. I don't like quitting a book so I made myself keep going. I only got to 30% before I just couldn't take anymore. The main reason this book didn't work for me was the main female character, Lexie. She was completely, utterly unlikable. I didn't find that [...]

He is a master and he is willing to help Lexie, but he wants her submission in return.A great story and I loved the interactions between these 2, I loved their passion and everythin [...]

    3. Taming Mr. HughesThis was truly a extraordinary read. Lexi is a writer looking for her next story and is stumbled upon by the delicious Garrett. She decides to get to know him better and finds out that he is a Dom. Eventually he agrees to tell her about the lifestyle for her book. From there you're transported on a journey of sensual chemistry and playful banter. What started off as a lesson about D/S ends up being a story of love between two stubborn alpha characters that you can't help falling [...]

    5. Taming Me was my first read by this author and I enjoyed it very much. I loved reading about an author and her process of writing and research. I loved how her character obviously had a connection with the author since they are both writers. It was also easy for me to connect since that piece of it made it seem more real to me. I will definitely look into reading more of Alexandrea's books and I would love to get Garrett's POV !! He was a very complex and mysterious man , I would love to try and [...]

I seriously loved it!Lexie Palmer is a writer and has come at an impasse because her ideas for books are starting to get stale in the eyes of her editor. So, when he tells her to write something about BDSM she jumps at the opportunity. But first, she needs to find out more about the style. A chance meeting with Garrett is all she needs in order to educate hers [...]

    7. I am SO glad that I found this author at an event on Facebook! She is just so talented. She has tackled a very common trope, 'girl meets well-to-do man and falls in love', in a very Uncommon way. Everything is told from Lexie's POV and if you don't like single person POV stories, you might want to give this a try anyway as it is done well here. In fact, I don't think it would have worked as well if we had access to Garret's POV. However, having said that, I would definitely like to read the same [...]

    8. This book had me sold from the start. It was funny, informative (believe it or not) and captivating. Lexie, the female star of the book, is a romance writer in a slump. In fact her entire life seems to be in a slump. Her editor tells her he can't sell her ole time romance books any more that she needs to get a more modern erotic angle. So Lexie sets out to do just that. While sitting in her favorite thinking spot, at the park by the water in New Orleans, Lexie meets new to town, Garret Hughes (o [...]

Be more 50 Shades-ish, talk bondage and such. Everyday "normal" romance isn't really selling anymore.Along comes Garrett Hughes. He's sexy, mysterious and pushes Lexies buttons. He is a master manipulator and Lexie finds herself making a deal with the devil. She offers up her submission for his help on her newest book. They charact [...]

    13. I love the Cover to Cover series so for me this book was a must read. Even though it wasn't my favorite in the series, this story is still quite good. It is definitely intriguing and show a different D&S relationship than the most commonly portrayed in fiction. The characters are quite intriguing and fascinating. They are very well developed and they are definitely fun to "hang out" with.Garret is definitely a very intense and enchanting alpha male. Even though the way he treated Lexie at ti [...]

    14. If you have read the cover to cover series, you met Garrett on the previous installment, That night with you. If you haven't, it's okay because each book is uniquely theirs and you don't need to read them to get into the book. Off the back I had an appreciation that Alexandrea felt compelled to put readers awareness that not all D/s lifestyle is like Fifty shades. This is a lifestyle; the good, the bad, and there are definitely a lot of ugly. Most importantly, you felt that not all women are sub [...]

    15. She needed to live it, to feel it….Lexie Palmer was a published author but her agent said her love stories were missing that elusive “something” that made a good story a blockbuster smash. Even with mysterious New Orleans as a romantic backdrop, inspiration remained just out of reach. Whether it was by chance or design that brought the mysterious Garrett Hughes into her life, Lexie was not going to look a gift horse in the mouth. Garrett was a dominant in the BDSM lifestyle and had informa [...]

When I started this book 2 days ago I was like ehhh, ok another bondage book, but then I read a few chapters and honestly couldn't put it down. Lexie is an author. Sick of releasing the same stuff she decided she needs to go out there and figure out her new story even if it means living it herself. She meets garret. 28. 3.5 StarsI have very mixed feelings about this book. In the beginning I didn't think I was going to be able to finish this book. It just started out flat and spent the first 20% of the book continuously bashing FSOG. It's obvious the author didn't care for FSOG, but it just became overkill by the time it was done. Further in the story picked up and it got much better, but then fell flat for me again at the end. There were times that I wasn't able to really gauge the characters emotions during con [...]
