    1. 4 All for the GROVEL StarsI had a really hard time getting into this until the 20% mark for some reason, but once I got going, I enjoyed it. The writing was a little stilted and the story line wasn't the strongest, but the grovelingoh the groveling. It's like crack and I love it. Find me at:

    2. "I hate that I love you," she whispered as a tear leaked from the corner of her eye. "God, I love when you talk like that."Okay, stahp. Just stahp the damn thing.I expected some major cry-fest for this book. What I got is annoyance and the bitter taste of disappointment.Grace used to be Mitchell's girlfriend. Because Mitchell is an ass and due to some understanding that could have been avoided if they just decided to talk and listen instead of judging, they broke up. A year later,Mitchell wants [...]

    3. Re-read March 21, 2017.Even better the second time around. Bumping it to a full 5 stars. Because finding a strong, smart, likable heroine and a deliciously sexy Alpha male who is not above making an epic grovel is Gold and deserves to be celebrated. Recommend this to readers in need of antibiotic from vile, evil virus-books featuring whiny doormats and the sleazy men who wipe their muddy cleats on them.Original review below:Fantastic, full of Harlequinny goodness, read. It is so rare to encounte [...]

    4. This was freaking awesome!!I dont want to jinx myself but ive struck gold this month, picking up bks with super cool super strong heroines! And on top of that I finally found a good grovel bk after so loooong! Thanks so freaking much for grovel discussion forum and the individual that rec'd it ! I stalk that grovel discussion like a sociopath! Hahaha! There is one quote that will show you why i loved the h in this bk "Don’t placate me!” she bellowed. “Go find a damsel in distress because I [...]

    5. Review in English and in Português 2,5 stars I'm so upset that I had to come here, write this review, to try to get it out of me.My dear GR friends recommended me this book telling that on it, the hero grovels a lot. I had such high expectationsGrace had a terrible childhood. Her mom, Vicky, had an affair with a married rich man and tried to catch him getting pregnant. But her trick didn't work and she didn't get the rich man. Vicky always blamed Grace for everything that went wrong with her li [...]

    6. This was pretty perfect in every way(view spoiler)[ except I had a hard time forgiving him at the very end for being angry and leaving her. It just didn't ring true to his character. Or unfortunately, it was true to character. The one where he yelled and told her she just wanted to trap him so he was going to make her suffer. It seemed whenever he got angry, he became vindictive and hurtful, hell bent on punishing her.(hide spoiler)]That had me questioning him and the HEA, so I knocked off one s [...]

    7. 3.5 starsh tries to hide her background from her partner, lover and wealthy businessman H. H's godfather is a creep and fills H's head with nonsense so H gets suspicious. H finds a pregnancy test and assumes it is the h's. H goes crazy and says some very hateful things. h leaves H. About a year later, H tries to repair damage. Not a great grovel, but a mini-grovel. h took forever to forgive H.

    8. He learned nothing. To begin with he was irredeemable, and then when heroine gives him a second chance, the moment she lets him in he fucks up.Sorry, no. He doesn't love her. He was after her because she was the only one who got away. After that epic amount of grovel he had done he had the audacity to try to punish her for her secret?WHAT has he done for her to forgive him.He needed to grovel for another 200 pages for the second fuck up.He doesn't share HIS secret but heroine has to share her? He's [...]

    9. I'm a little sick to my stomach. The h is still reeling from the huge and nasty betrayal of her lover. A year ago he found a pregnancy test, thought it was hers and crossed lines no true hero and no real man should ever cross especially with a GF or lover. Throwing things like she was a liar and a cheat at her. Why would he ever want to have a child from someone like her, from someone with her background, blah, blah, blah? Turns out her mother had been blackmailing the h's father for millions (y [...]

    10. WOW! I was caught off guard with this one! I didn't expect. To like this one. It was the next book in my library to read.i started off as usual by reading the first few pages to see if it caught my attention. I just loved it! It was just like an old Dynasty soap opera. Grace was so strong, sexy, and determined to make it work. She took on some crazy people in the book. Mitchell was a hot alpha male, he just wouldn't give up on Grace. I was crying so often throughout this story. I just loved this [...]

    11. Purely because the Hero had to work almost the whole of the book , to get back in the heroine's good graces .Soothed my grovel lust !

    12. Other than the fact that the author apparently doesn't know that there are 4 different kinds of past tense, each with sub types, this book was pretty good. Kind of a Harlequin Presents type book without being an HP. The only thing I didn't really like story wise was the way the hero, after his massive book long grovel, kind of gets pissed at her at the end and totally turns her away. Just seemed odd unlikely with the way that the author had set up his motivations and personality throughout the b [...]

    13. 3 1/2 stars rounded up. Very much like a Hqn Desire or Blaze (whichever has typically older, more experienced, independent heroines). Much of the book is the H trying to get the h back after behaving like an ass when he thought she'd trapped him with a pregnancy (she wasn't even pregnant). That's always fun :)The heroine comes from a very abusive background and is ashamed of it and therefore secretive. That allows her evil parents to cause lots of trouble. I do think we were left with some unans [...]

    14. She gave him HELL!!! And I loved it. I'm not a fan of books that take forever for the H/h to be together I actually like insta love. Well this book wasn't insta love, the book begins with the H/h broken up and he is groveling to get back with her. No cheating on either side he just says some major dick-ish stuff to her and she justifiably leaves. Well our h is no shrinking violet, she lick her wounds privately but gets on with her life and is doing the damn thing. He's begging and begging her an [...]

    15. 4 1/2 stars. I liked this one. Good strong characters, lots of angst, no easy forgiveness--for the most part. I felt the ending was a bit rushed. I probably would have given it a solid 5 stars if the ending conflict was not resolved so quickly, or if there was an epilogue.

    16. I love a good grovel, and love when a heroine gives back as good as she gets. I got this in heaps in Can't Let Go. A really enjoyable quick read.

    17. I liked this one but it really needed an epilogue - the ending seemed really abrupt to me. Looking forward to reading more by this author.

    19. Romantic drama out the wahzoo revolving around an emotionally detached couple and a baby. This story was so eye rolling, frustrating and just generally pissed me off. I wanted to smack the heroine who holds on to her hurt through 95% of the story. If you love a story where the heroine makes the Hero grovel, this is bk for you. Grace (boutique owner with an alcoholic mother who uses wealthy men) and Mitchell (stuffy, alpha, uber rich powerful exec, handsome hottie). The story opens and they’re [...]

    20. This review may contain spoilers.I loved it! I loved everything about Grace, her strength and her vulnerabilities. The way she stood up to Mitchell and refused to bend over his will. She was her own person. She has scars that she hides from everyone, but she doesn't let them pull her back. She's a fighter. And I loved that she wasn't the type to swoon over the hero, until he grovelled for a good while. And even though I agree that the H acted like a heel again towards the end, I was quite unders [...]

    21. I'm a sucker for a H that is crazy about the h. This book had a H that was obsessed with the h for the entire book. He never even looked at another woman. I loved how he was protective and possessive. The one thing that really bothered me was the abuse the h suffered from her parents. She was a grown woman getting hit by adults. Plus, I thought Maggie was an awful character. Could have done without her. Wish there were more books with such a caveman H.

    22. 3.5 stars. An interesting romantic read about a couple that blew up a few years ago after the billionaire boyfriend found a positive pregnancy stick, thought it was his girlfriend's and accused her of a lot of ugly "you're trying to trap me" type things. The pregnancy test happened to belong to her sister (who was pregnant) but the girlfriend could never forgive the things that the boyfriend accused her of and she left him.Spring forward to a year or so later, the girlfriend sees the old boyfrie [...]

To anyone who come's by this gem be sure to keep the tissue box ready because you won't stop There was hardly a chapter where, I didn't shed a few tears (I'm not exaggerating)Grace was such a strong woman, who not only had a backbone but gave back as she got Life was a total b***ch to her and still she got up, dusted her pants and walked on (gawd I have a girl crush). And finally, Mitchell he made a mistake but for the first time ever a hero grovelled so well and so much that he really deserved a [...]

    24. So fair warning, I read about 80 to 85 percent and glommed the rest. I'm getting over a bug, but my heads still sorta fuzzy, so keep that in mind while reading this:its an okay story, just not for me. We pretty much get dumped into the middle of the drama, with no build up, so it's sorta hard to really get invested in the story. And there's very little from the Heroes point of view, ( there's some head hopping so we get a couple scenes from him, but not enough IMO to really get a feel for him, so [...]

    26. *3.5* Mitchell and Grace had been in a relationship for two years until a misunderstanding tore them apart. Mitch said some appalling things and he did realize his mistake immediately, but the the damage has been done. I admire the heroine for sticking to her guns even as Mitch tries throughout the book to try and win her back. Circumstances happened where Grace needed to marry Mitch (don’t worry it’s not the pregnancy trope . . . but something almost similar and acceptable), however because [...]

    27. I really enjoyed this one - I like how independently successful each of the characters are, how determined the hero was to get back together with the heroine and how they banded together in times of turmoil. They each were flawed, there were outside obstacles creating suspense and putting pressure on their relationship, and it was easy to follow each of their train of thought. Easily came absorbed, quick read, enjoy this authors writing, would have liked an epilogue.

    28. After reading the first few pages, the book had me hooked. I loved everything about it. Be prepared with a box of tissues! I was crying so much throughout this story. I was so hoping for an epilogue at the end of this book or at least the author mentioning there is going to be a second book. I really hope the author decides to write a part 2 And include a story about Amy or Landon. I was sad when the book ended. I really enjoyed every part of this book from start to finish

    30. At first I thought OMG an ex who is a stalker but it didn’t take me long to understand they both very much still loved each other. One fighting to be forgiven while the other fighting not to forgive. Secret, lies and half truths will get you every time as Grace finds out. She has her reason which he does not understand. There is no way she can tell him all for it will destroy his life and the faith he puts in mankind. When you love someone you are suppose to listen to their side and then decid [...]
