    1. I adore this book. It made me laugh, smile, and best of all it pulled at my heart strings. I have read quite a few of Lynn Galli's novels, this one in my humble opinion is her best. It is amazing! I have read a plethora (love that word) of romance novels and this is absolutely one of the best.Right from the start of the book you are thrown into the crazy world of wedding planning. The main character is the maid of honor, Skye, and while she is happy for the bride and groom, she is anti-wedding. [...]

    4. 4.2 stars. I liked it. It's one of those enemies to lovers books, probably the best one I've read so far using the theme. Their bickering is incredibly entertaining. Both main leading ladies are well developed. I can't say I connected to either of them that deeply but it's also not like I didn't care for them. I was invested in their love/hate relationship and most of all it's entertaining as hell. The side characters were also great. From best friend Dallas to the little girl Poppy, it's a real [...]

    5. I already wrote this review once but ate it so ill make this quick I loved this! This is the first book I have read by Galli, and I have no idea why I waited so long. Her writing is wonderful and the romance was sweet and believable. It was a slow building romance that truly showed the chemistry between the characters. And the one intimate scene the book had was pretty steamy. This book does have a lot of wedding prep. At first I was worried I was going to be bored, but as I got into the story, [...]

    6. This was such a fun read. However My review would've been quite different if I'd written it before reading the last chapter and the epilogue. I was so disappointed at most of the ending.Don't get me wrong, I love romantic happy endings and all that stuff. But this bothered me a lot. Spoiler-free short version: things escalated very quickly. Like, way too quickly. I was looking forward to praising how nicely paced the story was, how the progress of their relationship felt natural and amazing to r [...]

    7. I would say this book is pretty good. My exact rating would be 4.5 stars. And why is that? Well, i liked the pace of the book until i reached the end. The characters are well constructed and i really laugh out loud with the interaction between Skye and Ainsley. They are really quite a pair XD.But i didn't like the end. For me it seemed rush. For someone as cynical as Skye, rushing not only into a realtionship, but also into a marriage like that didn't fit. And that's why i don't give the book th [...]

    10. Maybe it's just me but I feel like the characters here lack the dept from those in Lynn Galli's other books; it was just hard to connect. And there was a rush ending, not enough romance and too much wedding prep it gave me quite a scare :)).

    11. Another wonderful and quirky book by Lynn Galli. I always enjoy reading books by this Author, she has a way of making you fall in love with her characters and cheering them on when it's needed and crying along with them when things seem lost. I definitely recommend this book.

    12. The tenth book I've read by Galli. Strange to think that it was only as far back as June 29, 2015 that I read my first book by Galli. Reading 10 books in 37 days isn't that strange. I mean, it is 10.14% of an entire year. But the reality is that there is a month gap between the first book I read by Galli, and the second. Or, more accurately, 22 days. So, in actual fact, I read 9 books in 16 days. So, roughly 1.8 days per book instead of 3.7 (though, in reality, more like a day a book; I mean, I [...]

    13. I didn't like this one. I don't like weddings much more than Skye does, and there was just way too much wedding prep in this book. If you need a how to on getting a wedding planned quickly, then this is the book for you. Otherwise, you'll be bored, as I was. As is the norm for Galli, this is told in first person, which means we get to know a lot about Skye, who is a great character, but not so much about Ainsley, who has a stick up her butt for the greater portion of the book in regards to Skye, [...]

    15. Great story with a slow build up to romance. I will now be watching Brave again! Love the Scottish references. I totally cracked up at the end of the book, reading about the author!! That was awesome. Enjoyable read with great characters.

    18. Detailed score: 3.5 [but not quiiiite good enough for a round up]This book is going to drive some of you nuts. It relies on the reader believing that first person lens, Skye, genuinely believes that our other main romantic protagonist (Ainsley) finds her irritating beyond belief (and vice versa for a good portion of the book) to prevent them being together -- despite ever-growing indications to the contrary. I found myself able to go with it for most of the time I was asked to but it's a pretty [...]

    19. Although the story has likeable characters and good writing, whole plot is seriously flawed with redundant supporting characters, excessive wedding planning, and too little exposure to main characters' relation development.

    21. Lovely story with great characters. And since I often complain about language details, I can admit that I was apprehensive about the Scottish character, but Galli dealt with it quite cleverly. The first time she spoke she added a phonetic comment about what she sounded like, integrated in the text, and that was that. Her dialog included enough turns of phrases to distinguish her from the American speakers. So, doesn't seem too hard to pull it off.

    22. Love Lynn Galli but I loved this one even more then the rest. Only because of Ainsley lol I loved her character. Both main Characters were stubborn for a while but over all a great read for me.

    23. Ended up reading this until 5 in the morningI’ve got two exams and quiz tomorrow (today) that I feel completely unprepared for, but I couldn’t stop reading. I love a good enemy turned lover romance, and this one was more than amazing. It’s great when other cultures get incorporated into another. I just wish we could have a sequel to this (one where they get married and plan to have children or something interesting). The story was great, I recommend everyone give it a go.

    24. I been using "Aye" in chat for as long as I can remember, probably years ago. I never know it is a Scottish's meaning of saying yes. I used it for yes, for ending a conversation, for agreeing, for express surprise, sad or anything of the sort. Some people did mentioned whether or not I am copying a pirate. I probably picked this up when one of my long term friend keep introduced the term for me. Now, finally, I am honor to bother looking up its meaning. The romance is slow, but these type of slo [...]

    25. The worst crime this book commits is having a promising start. Charming protagonist, interesting characters, snappy and funny writing. And I'm a sucker for "frenemy" romance stories. The beginning of the book had me hooked and then it just kinda ran out of steam when the fun and bizarre got burried under a pile of weeding planning minutae. The gear-shift towards romance at that point is both obvious and not; on one hand, the story is trying to establish a subtle attraction. On the other, the fir [...]

    26. I am pretty much guaranteed to pick up anything by Lynn Galli and One-Off was no exception. Filled with the humor that makes all of Galli's characters stand out, One-Off provided a fun filled story about weddings. In this amazing time in history what could be better than a story about a wedding? How about one where the bride isn't the one planning it, rather she drops that bundle of fun on her wedding-hating Maid of Honor! Galli does an excellent job of growing her characters as the story dances [...]

    27. AyeWow. I was enchanted by this book. I can't think of a better way to put it. I was expecting it to be a wedding how-to like so many have stated, but it wasn't. The wedding planning was just a tool to really make the two leads connect. I really enjoyed it and I'm sad that it's over.I almost forgot to mention: I never found any accent particularly sexy until I read this book.

    28. Lynn Galli does it again a long awaited novel from this author was well worth the wait. A one off romance which did not disappoint. A rollercoaster of will they, won't they mixed in with our two main characters organising a wedding for their best friends who are out of the country and all that entails, especially as years ago their relationship was less than friendly.

    29. Well doneI love Lynn Galli, have read all her books, and am thrilled to add this one to my collection. My only complaint was that I had a hard time following who was speaking at times. Other than that, I loved the story, I loved the characters, and I look forward to her next book!
