    1. This is a really interesting romance. At its heart, it a love story that shows that you don't have to be perfect or overcome all of your flaws to be deeply loved. One hero is ambitious and a bit stuck up. He tends to push hard for what he wants and judge quickly. He makes errors for judgement. But he has regret and sees his mistakes even if he keeps making them. The reasons he makes them come from a good place. The other heroes are much more straight forward though the more passive judge is a lo [...]

    2. I enjoyed the story, but not the h, Cissy. I just never saw how two of the guys would have any attraction to such a crude woman. The story was good and continued along the same path as the previous book. Again, well-written and proofread. Too many looooong smex/bdsm scenes. Yawn. I read about the first two, then skim the rest. I am sure several of these could be cut out. The book would still be good.I have read all of this series and the Shalia's Diary books, and I will continue.

    3. Since I bought my first e-reader and discovered the vast array of books that are not available in the bookstore, series books have a limited place on my shelf. After a handful, if that many, I usually move on. So why am I reading Alien Indiscretions, the ninth book in the Clans of Kalquor series? As the series continues, the story just keeps getting better. In Alien Indiscretions, there is a Prologue that does an excellent job of summarizing the events of leading up to this book. I will attempt t [...]

    4. Oh boy, shit just got real in Kalquor folks! Alien Indiscretions may just be the most action-packed installment in the series to-date, or at least on level with Alien Salvation and the aftermath of Earth’s self-inflicted Armageddon. Which is rather appropriate as it also brings Dramok Diltan back on the scene as a potential suitor for another of the Empress Jessica’s relatives – Cissy Salter. As I haven’t read Alien Salvation in quite a while, Diltan’s name didn’t ring any bells unti [...]

    5. Boy am I exhausted after reading this book. A really good exhausted though! The ‘staying up until 2AM when I know I have to get up for work at 5:30AM’ kinda exhausted!!! :DAlien Indiscretions is the 9th book in the Clans of Kalquor series written by Tracy St. John. It is one of my favorite SciFi Erotica series and I LOVE TELLING EVERYONE I KNOW ABOUT IT!!As always I LOVE these characters! Cissy was a rambunctious chick with an awesome attitude, and Diltan (a congressman), Wal (a judge), and [...]

    6. I'm a long-time fan of St. John's "Clans of Kalquor" series, and had been looking forward to this latest installment. But somehow this story just never gained any traction with me.Twins Cissy and Tasha, cousins of Empress Jessica, arrive on Kalquor at a time of considerable unrest related to the divisive issue of Kalquor/Earther interbreeding. Now that the truth is known about the initial Earther 'abductions,' it appears that the very survival of the Kalquor empire is in jeopardy. The twins are [...]

    7. While I've enjoyed all the rest of the books in this series, I really had to struggle my way through this one. The romance was okay but since Dilton was such a butthead when we met him, it was hard for me to accept his turn around in this book (although Rolat and Wal were wonderful clan mates to Dilton). The biggest reason I struggled though was the whole societal shift that is going on on Kalquor with the group that prefers extinction to accepting the impuriety associated with adding human bloo [...]

    8. Another great addition to the Clans of Kalquor series. It was wonderful to get a glimpse into the lives of our previous protagonists, not that the main story was lacking in excitement! For a sci-fi/drama/erotic, St. John really nails the humor in this one, right away I loved the heroines easy and teasing relationship with her sister and her cousins. And I'm never, ever gonna get sick of stiff Nobek guard reactions to the girls pushing each other around. Cissy's love interests are a good mix of a [...]

    9. 4.5 Stars. Great read and I can't wait for the next one in the series! Clans of Kalquor 9, Alien Indiscretions, follows Empress Jessica's cousin Cissy and Clan Diltan. We met Dramok Diltan briefly in Alien Salvation and frankly he was not very likable then. I wasn't sure whether I would like him as one of the "heroes" since he had been a "villain" in the previous book. The author does a good job of making him relatable as well as repentant. The conflict between Cissy and Clan Diltan is actually [...]

    10. I really enjoy the raucous Clans of Kalquor with their insanely gorgeous, subserviant men. What's great about them is that while being avid adorers of women, they are also emotionally powerful and do not portray weakness of character at all. It's pretty heady stuff! Their matches are also unique in that they always involve a foursome, but their beds are more than accommodating. :-D This particular installment involved a pairing in which both the heroine and Leader of the male clan weren't my fav [...]

    11. A slow starter for sure. At 22 percent into the book, I was struggling to stay with it. But I’m glad I stayed. Tracy St. John gave us another entertaining book in her Kalquor series. She has a talent in bringing the characters to life. The vile Maf with his disfigurement, the mouthy Cissy, the proper Tasha, and then the Diltan clan. It was a political drama and the author made a good decision to use high political figures for the clan, which added to the unfolding drama. And the drama of the c [...]

    12. AweThis did have more political plot to it than clanning. However there was still clanning between cissy and clan diltan. Wow they make a lively clan to. I mean cissy has an attitude I love in a heroine and the explosive interactions between dramok diltan was hilarious. I loved hearing more of the sub plot that came into focus this time. Things have just gotten alot hairier on kalqour and fear for the clans because of the basma spouting his poison causing dissent. The earthen leader Copeland Bro [...]

    13. Another winner! Tracy St. John can certainly keep me completely entertained with her Kalquorians and Earther Mataras! I really enjoyed this book and the continuation of the saga. The characters of Cissy and Tasha were well written and I loved the Diltan clan as well. I look forward to seeing Maf get exposed in future books! He is a great villain. From Diltan's appearance in earlier books where he made an ass of himself- all I can say is he has come a long way! Great writing as usual Tracy!

    14. An enthralling story. Only problem I had after re-reading all 8 previous books the steamy scenes got really old. I skimmed most of them and was at times displeased at their occurrence. It felt to me like they had to boink at the most inopportune times - like Ms. St.John felt the urge to press that unnecessary scene in for fear people with criticize the lack of steam in the book. The sub-plot was so suspenseful that I was like "Aww do you guys have to do that now? I wanna know what happens next i [...]

    15. Not to be missedTracey St John never fails to give us a fantastic journey, this story was ripe with excitement and continuing the stories of Kalqour, always a happy ending for the heroes and heroines e of the story. Sensuous and exciting the sex in these stories are a ten, never fail to please and excite the reader. Cissy finds her happy ending. Yes I recommend this series to all who enjoy the sci-fi with the edge of BDSM and eroticism.

    16. From a dedicated reader and lover of all of your books, not just the clans of kalquor, this is a major disappointment. You can see your excellent writing bleeding through the pages, but this is just too major a change from someone reading about females with morals. I guess this is just my opinion, but this girl is acting like a rebellious teenager, not a religion weary woman who has just found her freedom to be a person. I'm just glad that this book is over. Sorry.

    17. 2.5 I'm rounding up 'cause I love this series but I couldn't get into this book. I picked it up and put it back down 5 times in the last two weeks. The only reason I forced myself to finish it was because it was part of a group challenge. I never warmed up to Diltan, which may have been the problem, I didn't hate him but he was really annoying to me to the very end

    18. Another Enjoyable Book in the Universe of KalquorThe book was well written and editing. Old characters from other books in the series as well new ones. The universe in which Kalquor exists is complex and rich. I recommend this book as well as the entire series of "Clans of Kalquor."

    19. Again I tend to like Tracy's work. This was no exception. The female was difficult to like but not without redeeming value as a person. The clan was interesting. I like that Tracy is branching out in terms of adding more world building. It makes her books so much more than sexy sci-fi. Wish she would a book about Cristy's sister. She seems like she has a story to tell.

    20. Hot and SexyGreat new story from Tracy! Really thought it was hot with the clans looking for their one woman. I am hoping they good guys can win out over the bad ones and kalquor comes out whole on the political stage.
