    2. Stunning book which races along detailing the life of a young Jewish refugee who become a Hollywood B-singer and movie star. Beautifully written by a Hollywood insider in the Noir tradition.

    5. I'm still not sure I loved the writing style, at times it seemed a bit goofy and simple, but both books (Book two; An Almost Perfect Ending) were so damn entertaining and hard to put down I had to give it a five star rating. This is a hell of a story, can't wait for the Third.
