    About Sam Crescent

    1. Sam Crescent is passionate about fiction She loves a good erotic romance and so it only made sense for her to spread her wings and start writing She began writing in 2009 and finally got that first acceptance in 2011 by Total E Bound She loved creating new characters and delving into the worlds that she creates When she s not panicking about a story or arguing with a character, she can be found in her kitchen creating all kinds of havoc Like her stories the creations in the kitchen can be just as dubious but sometimes things turn out great.

    1. This was just Meh for me. Yes, He was alpha and nutty about the heroine, but he was also a complete asshat and Manwhore. He even told his friends, after they had unprotected sex, that he has to have sex with other women to forget her. Holy crap! Not only does he not use protection but he is still behaving like a Manwhore. Talk about endangering your health and I love the fact that she called him on this issue. However, the fact that he felt like he has to forget her!? That was not happening for [...]

    2. 2.5 blah stars.I've read enough Sam Crescent books to know what to expect. However, even knowing that, I found this book to be fairly rough. The Hero was beyond domineering and the heroine was rather violent. I don't know if I really ever felt love between them because we never saw it. We saw him pursue her, her tell him she didn't trust him, him yell, her hit him, and lots of condomless sex. I also found this book to be rather boring. I kept expecting her to get kidnapped or threatened by the r [...]

    3. Not for me. "The view of her back showed her to be on the plump side, but Caleb always did have a thing for blondes. Both women were not overly slender, but the blonde was rounder than the brunette. He’d not seen her face yet, but if she repulsed him, he could always put a bag over her head."That quote was how far I got into the book. Saw that and knowing it's the HERO thinking that? No thank you. He thought of all women as whores and just having a hole he could stick his dick in.Helllllllll n [...]

    4. I can honestly say that I rarely rate a book one starI hate to do it; but I won't pretend to enjoy a book when I didn't. I was so disappointed with "Fear of the Boss" especially because I have enjoyed Sam Crescent's MC series very much. I became interested in this book because of the second book in this series. Me being me; I can't read Book two without reading the first!! Also, I am very stubborn when it comes to starting a book, and having to read it right to the end; which is what happened in [...]

    5. 4 1/2 stars, OH YES, sometimes a girl just needs a crazy possessive hero who forces his way into her life and takes every advantage he can to keep her even if some might consider his methods a reason for a restraining order. And that man would be Caleb. Mrs. Crescent blew me away with this book, Caleb is without a doubt my all time favorite hero Sam Crescent has ever written. Hands down he is her most alpha, possessive, demanding, dangerous hero and I loved him(thats me singing my love).Caleb do [...]

    6. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this book. The H became obsessed with the h as soon as he saw her. The h is innocent and reluctant to trust men while the H is an extremely dangerous man. My favorite part of this book was that the H did all the chasing. The h didn't just accept the H's dangerous lifestyle or let him get away with ordering her. Every time she pulled away it only made his alpha male tendencies stronger. i can't wait to read about Henry and Lydia, the best friends o [...]

    7. DNF. I don't mind dark erotica, but I wasn't feeling this book. And I love assassin heroes and characters! This one just seemed off and empty to me. The writing wasn't polished, it felt amateur. The "hero" was disturbing. For starters, I'm pretty sure he's a sociopath. He kills without any remorse, and IMO for petty things. There are other ways to deal with the situations that he choose murder. He treats women like trash. They're only good for one thing - sex. He calls them whores and bitches. H [...]

    8. HE'S SEXY AND DANGEROUSCaleb with his best friend and Partner Henry started out as fighters, the trust between them is strong. Moving on from fighting they now own a nightclub, but that's mostly a front for all their other activities. When Caleb enters a jewellery store to buy a goodbye gift for the woman he's currently having sex with he meets Donna one of the sales assistants. He's immediately attracted to Donna, she's nothing like the women he usually goes with, and she's not fawning all over [...]

    9. Everything about Caleb Cassell terrifies Donna, from his demeanor to the fact she finds him attractive. Caleb worked his way from the bottom up, as a fighter to a man who has no rules. The minute he sees Donna he is intrigue, but she doesn't want anything to do with him. Caleb though believes if he can get just one date, she will change her mind.Pure alpha male, Caleb is a man who is in control. From intense desire to dealing with his business and the conflict he may have with finding a woman wh [...]

    10. The last book I read was long, boring and the lead male character was insecure, super sensitive and wimpy not what I look for in male so I needed to restore my faith in the alpha male and who better than Sam Crescent.Caleb Cassell came from nothing, he literally fought his way to the top and now with his partner Henry they deal in drugs, guns and girls using their nightclub Ecstasy as a front. When we first meet Caleb he's not a particularly nice man and he treats women like whores, you could arg [...]

    11. 4*sI enjoyed it, the guy is very much an Alpha and particularly dominant but once he sets his sight on Donna, he knows what he wants and goes after it. This is another book where the main female isn't perfect - weight wise and i'm really liking that in a book heroine. She was very reluctant to get in with him and I liked the way that was handled. Obviously with him being a crime lord, some of his business rubs off onto her, putting her in danger and he proves his status by protecting her by any [...]

    12. The male in this story is an arrogant asshole. I know I'm not supposed to put these type of words in this story but it is what it is. he goes from one extreme with her to the other. There is something definitely wrong with that. Then he becomes obsessed with her. Well at least he definitely makes sure that she gets off. She on thebother hand I'll say, is the typical blonde. She is too naive. Well there is a difference between being naive and being totally stupid. Which she so is At least the sex [...]

    15. First half was nice. I like the way the H is ott over the h. I liked the way the h resisted him. Perfect. But then when the h finally gives him was just too easy and desperate. He told her to come to a cafe if she wants more. And the h just goes to meet him. Completely clueless. That was a turnoff. But the book is not bad. Just the second half is a bit too much.

    18. 3 1/2 starsHit man/pimp meets innocent virginCaleb gets what he wants when he wants, except the one woman who keeps telling him no. I love stories where the heroine doesn't immediately fall into the arms of the hero and worship the ground he walks on. Even though Donna is innocent, she's no fool. She's sweet, with a mind of her own and nothing like the women Caleb is used to. He actually has to work to get her. I wanted to slap him around for only wanting sex and having the gaul to admit it to D [...]

    19. I'm giving this a 3.5. It was a short read not as dark or gritty as I thought it would be but I liked it. The reason for the 3.5 stars is it was too much like Knight by Kristen Ashley. I'm sorry but I love her! There were just way too many comparisons reading it bugged me. I keep think of Knight. 20. I can understand why this will be a bit of a controversial story. It's not your usual morally upstanding Hero. This guy has been a "I like it, I want it, I get it" kind of arrogant manuntil he falls for the heroine.I like that he wanted her to be proud of herself. I liked that he wanted to be better for her. He falls for her so fast and hard and it's totally new to him. He doesn't really know how to handle it. He messes up often but he's not exactly above begging. Calab is totally distracted by [...]

    21. HmmmI'm not sure how I feel about this one. I usually enjoy the possessive heroes that are ever present in Sam Crescent's novels but somehow the hero just came off as a take-no-for-an-answer-ever kinda hero and the heroine who started off independent and seemed to be smart about the situation turned into a heroine who SPOILERcontinued to let a man have sex with her without protection even after she knew he didn't use previously and could've gotten her pregnant. Then when I looked for the aghast [...]

    22. This is the 1st book in the Deadly Duet series. Caleb grew up on the streets & is now a man feared by all who know him. He sells woman & drugs out of his very busy night club & never keeps a woman for long. Donna is a sweet virgin who works at a jewelry store & has never had a boyfriend. Caleb wants to get rid of his current fuck buddy so he goes to a jewelry store to buy her a goodbye gift. When Caleb sees Donna he is instantly attracted to her & doesn't take no for an answe [...]

    23. I'm a huge fan of Sam Crescent and for me "Fear The Boss" is not complet yet. Knowing he is very a dangerous man and a lot of people know him, they pretty much shaken up knowing they're gonna end up dead if you mess with him and Henry. I expect a lot more deadly actions to their enemies but Caleb became a pussy whip with Donna. So I think the suspense and bloody actions holds off back there. Looking forward to Henry and Lydia's story real soon

    24. This book was hot, hot, hot and, that's right you guessed it, HOT. It had a real bad boy determined to seduce a young virgin whose life was less than eventful. She's sweet and soft, he's hard coree's innocent, he's anytin' but thate's a virgin, he's a silver-tongued devile's in trouble because like every real alpha male he's out to take it all- her body and her heart.

    25. Caleb met Donna while buying jewelry to dump a girl. Donna kept her distance for as long as she could. Caleb wouldn't take no for an answer and kept pursuing Donna. Caleb kept what he did for a living hidden from Donna for awhile. Donna and Caleb had to learn to trust each other. It was interesting watching these two work things out.

    26. Its too short of a book to be five stars. There's no true character development or plot. Its a nice short quick read but it is a good read for what its worth. If youre looking for something short snd easy that wont end up on your DNF list then go for it. If you looking for more then that? Then hold off on this one until you have nothing else to read. Thats my recommendation.

    27. I didn't like this book at all - Caleb annoyed the shit out of me -like who would be with someone like this - okay he loved her but he still treated her like shit. I think I need to come back to Sam Crescent after I read something different because I just feel her books are all the same lately and I am getting a little bored.

    28. Where to start: this book just didn't do anything for me. I felt no connections with the characters and didn't feel their connection either. It just dragged. I would have stopped reading it but I don't like to not finish books so I skimmed some and read some and was glad it was over so I could find a better book to read.

    29. Ok, so this was more of a 3.5 stars read, but I gave it 4 because I love Sam Crescent's writing and even if this story is not so good every author is allowed to have a not so inspired work. The plot is quite good, but what pissed me off in here was the heroine. I didn't like her at all. The hero was okay though. I want to read Henry's story !

    30. I really didn't like the writing in this book, it was too "hey I'm a new author" but the story was still pretty lovable. I guess it just didn't make sense how fast everything happened and I felt like a lot of the plot was too rushed. Regardless, hot alpha scary man meets cute virginal woman! What's not to love?!
