    1. Super cute and fluffy, with a wee bit of angst, Princess Bride quotes and two young men who find love during a winter storm. What's not to like? Sized just right for a lunch break, this was a lot of fun to read!

    5. Hi guys! A short while ago, I was asked by Brigham Vaughn if I wanted to review this book as it was coming out soon. While I’m swamped with books to read, a delicious looking short story was too hard to resist. My first story of the author and I really liked it <3 Hope y’all will check it out *g*rainbowgoldreviews.wordpress.cCover: Often it is quite obvious that no great effort went into covers of some short stories. With this one it is easy to see that thought was put into the cover; it [...]

    6. “With ten to twelve inches predicted, don’t forget to stop at your local store and stock up on milk, eggs and bread. We have a level five French toast emergency”‘The French Toast Emergencies’ is a charming and wonderful story and since this is a new to me author also a revelation. I adored Arthur and Samuel and their meeting in a grocery store. With a freak April snow storm on the way, both young men are trying to stock up on essentials before the weather confines them to their houses. [...]

    7. ‘The French Toast Emergencies’ is a charming and wonderful story and since this is a new to me author also a revelation. I adored Arthur and Samuel and their meeting in a grocery store. With a freak April snow storm on the way, both young men are trying to stock up on essentials before the weather confines them to their houses. A tug of war over the last loaf of bread sparks something in both of them and when Samuel finds himself stranded outside the store after locking his keys in the car, [...]

    8. I love seeing a well written, tight, and clean self-published story. So often these days, I find self-published to lack the quality I seek when I am paying for a story. I was very pleased to see Vaughn, however, stays far away from that trap.Samuel is having a bad, bad day. The one highlight, however, is meeting Arthur at the grocery store while they both reach for the last loaf of bread. Definition of “meet-cute” right there. Always the start of an interesting story, in my experience. Frenc [...]

    9. I really enjoyed this story, even though its not what I would typically read. I thought the chemistry between the two main characters was well written. The author has a very astute eye in how she captured the insecurities and fear of misunderstanding inherent when two people start out on a new relationship. This story had an authenticity to it which made me feel that Arthur and Samuel could be two people I know in real life. Miss Vaughn is a very talented writer, and I will be adding her other b [...]

    10. This was great. I was really looking forward to this because I love Brigham's books. I wasn't dissapointed. There's humor, romance, and sexy times. What more could you possibly want?My only reason for not giving this five stars is that it's on the (very) short side and they go 'from 0 to 100' in the blink of an eye. Definitely not a deal breaker though. I most certainly recommend y'all read this!

    11. I was a beta for this book. This is a sweet little story that will be sure to bring a smile to your face! If you've ever had to deal with a weather emergency you will recognize what a nightmare it can be but this takes that nightmare and makes it a love story. A perfect quick read for a rainy or snowy day when you want to feel the sunshine even if it's only from the happy you will feel reading this. Plus there are Princess Bride jokes, you can't ever go wrong with that. :)

    12. As the 2-star label says, it was okay.Arthur's a wreck and is ridiculously over-emotional.How Samuel managed to (view spoiler)[end up at a grocery store in a blizzard without even a jacket, and then left not only his phone and wallet but also his keys in his car (hide spoiler)]is baffling. The Princess Bride quotes are cute, but both MC's are just a little too screwed up for me to believe they're capable of a healthy relationship.

    17. Pleasant snow bound short, with vicious grocery shopping and crackling fires.Arthur was a bit 'slow down, no go on, no stop, yes go on' so no wonder Samuel got confused.
