    3. I'd give this 4 stars but my own children and the 4-6 year old children I've read this to have absolutely adored this. It's kind of comic format and is just great fun to read aloud. 4. Adorable! James Stevenson's "Grandpa and Wainey" series are wonderful. The illustrations, such as the ones with flashbacks of the "Uncle Wainey" character as a baby, complete with a mustache, are genius. And the stories are endlessly entertaining.

    5. Love this story. My Grandma Clark used to read it to my cousins and my sister and I when we were little.
