    1. Wow. I just finished Cry Devil(Edit: Perception. I love the new title!) like literally 30 seconds ago and wow. This book was amazingly written. Although I am pretty sure not a single good thing happened throughout the whole novel And it is not my normal type of genre. It is very addicting though! The characters all seemed very broken, and a couple I still don't what's going on with them. I am pretty sure there is a lot happening that we don't know about yet. *cough*magic or something*cough*This i [...]

    2. I signed up at the chance to read and review this book for the author. I received an ecopy of the book to read in exchange for my honest review! This is one of those books where you're utterly flummoxed at the end. You aren't confused, but you just keep saying wowahwow! This book grasps your attention by using the second person from the get-go, instantly putting the reader into the shoes of Grace. The constant use of "you did this, you did that, you felt this" drags you in, willingly or not, and [...]

    3. R2R: Cry Devil(I received a free copy, in exchange for a review.)It only takes one moment, in your life to change everything. Grace and Jude are identical twins, mirror images. One car accident, changes their lives, losing their father and parts of themselves. The only person to rescue them is their grandmother, who does so reluctantly. Parts of the night are missing from Grace's memory and the coma has not helped. She stays behind, in the hospital, with Jude moves to Vitoria, the island where t [...]

    4. Find more reviews on What She Reads-The story is told within the second person narrative, and when I first opened the book I just happened to be all alone so I decided to read it aloud. The opening paragraphs were chilling and hearing myself talk in this way sent shivers down my spine. Never is my life have a been so compelled by such a writing style. The opening of the story was intense yet enthralling. Grace and Jude suffer through a terrible loss and have to move to Vitoria to live with their [...]

    5. my thoughts - This book is about two twin girls Jude and Grace Celadon. They are identical twin sisters in every which way. It is written in Grace’s point of view and begins with her in the hospital due to a fatal car accident that took the life of their father. Jude however, is living with your grandmother, waiting for you to get released. This book starts out slow but it picks up, it touches topics such as love, betrayal, trust, religion, and many more. The title of the book truly matches i [...]

    6. uses a unique writing voice to bring the reader into the story that makes you feel as though the reader is part of it, not merely watching. From early on, you are presented with a storyline that you want to know more about, while still being presented with enough background information to not lose who the characters are.Everyone in this book has such a unique personality to add to the storyline. Definitely a more dark, more intense ride than I expected even from the start and the endetely unexpe [...]

    7. When I received this book as the winner of a first reads giveaway, I wasn't sure what I was getting into. The book didn't seem to fit my current interests and the description provided wasn't grabbing my attention. I was so wrong. Once the action picked up, I couldn't put the book down. The characters are interesting and the story dark and twisting. V.S Ware wrote a note in the cover saying, "The devil is in the details." She couldn't be more accurate. Get ready for your jaw to drop.

    8. Won this from giveaway. It's dark and twisted tale of twin sisters who's lives are changed by a car accident. They have to move to a new area and make friends with broken rich teens. There is dark magic and religous undertones that turn downright sinister. The ending was a shock and left me scared and a Little freaked out. Would be a great scarry movie!

    9. This book is unlike any YA novel I have ever read. I could not put it down! The prologue alone is breathtaking and while the book takes a dark turn, the writing is so beautiful you forget there is even a hint of horror lurking in the shadows. Loved this book so much, definitely worth the read!
