    1. This book contains invaluable and uncommon wisdom for dealing with colic. 2. Absolute MUST read for all new parents! Both my husband and took Alison's advice and read this book before our first baby arrived in February. 3. This book is CRAZY helpful no matter if you're a first time parent or already have a couple kids. There is invaluable advice on feeding, sleeping, and daily patterns. Colic can be prevented! She even throws in some chapters on birth, nutrition, and post-partum depression. There is a super helpful cheatsheet guide at the back. Best baby book that I have read (and reread).

    4. I adore this book. With my second baby, I kept it by my bedside as my reference companion and recommended it to all of my friends! I only wish I'd had it with my first baby. Alison writes as though she's sitting on the couch chatting with you, and her years of midwifery experience are invaluable.
