    About Podga

    1. I m introverted, but work at a job, where I constantly interact with new people, so I read to re charge my batteries Seems like I m always on a plane, so as far as I m concerned e readers with long battery lives are just about the best invention on this earth Occasionally I try my hand at writing, and while my stories aren t really autobiographical, they are inspired by my experiences sometimes I even figure out some stuff about myself but mostly I don t.Home these days is Athens, Greece Not the gay friendliest place in the world, but it s ever so slowly getting better and the younger generation is a heck of a lot braver than mine was, so that s good to see and experience.

    1. Benny lost his partner, Phil, seven years ago. Now, facing the third time being a best-man to his friend, Roger, he must also experiencing another set-up. This time, Roger's future wife, Carrie, is planning to set him up with her own brother, Matt. But when Benny and Matt first met, it's not exactly perfect I totally blame Chris for putting this on my peripheral. Because this one is another good unpublished/online fiction. There are few things that I like. One, the two guys are mature men; I mea [...]

    2. Very good m/m romance about a fifty-ish guy who's resistant when his best friend wants to set him up with a date for said best friend's third wedding. This could've used a bit of groveling and explaining near the end, but it managed to work without that.

    3. Beautiful classic romance. The writing is great: Benny's emotions are wonderfully portrayed without melodrama (yes, I cried), and the day-to-day life of all the characters seemed utterly real to me. Like the other readers, I knocked a star off for a lack of groveling. A highly recommended free read.

    4. This was heading for a 5 star review until I got to the ending. I only have one word to say about that. GROVEL???

    6. Overall, I am glad Ami's review drew my attention because I liked this story and adored Benny. Unfortunately, Matt's attitude throughout the climax made me heavily doubt his supposed feelings for Benny - hence the actual 3.5. But I will round it up to four because I enjoyed the author's writing. High quality online fiction!

    7. Online read. What Chris said; not enough grovelling at end but otherwise a very entertaining story.

    8. This was a charming read, although it ended abruptly. I understand why Benny might come across as a doormat(view spoiler)[due to his reaction when Matt returned. I think the author explained a lot of that away with her account of what Benny did while he and Matt were apart: he really, truly got out there and started living his life, he got laid A LOT, and he acknowledged that it made sense that Matt would attempt to try to salvage a relationship he'd spent 20 years in (which would mean that he w [...]

    9. Sweet, emotionally plausible story about the gay, slightly uptight Benny, learning to adapt to a new love affair in middle age after a tragedy. Warning for those who are new to literotica: lots and lots of sex. While the lawyer/doctor combination is a bit glossy I really love the characterization and how articulate the author is about feelings. The sex scenes are A) an education and B) sweet in their own way. If you are new to reading gay romance, this is a terrific place to start.I'm kind of sho [...]

    10. I liked the relationship build between Benny and Matt and that they had sputters and starts in the story based on how their previous relationships ended. Unlike other reviewers, the lack of groveling at the end didn't bother me as much although a bit longer explanation from Matt would have been preferable. Also, his convenient reaquisition of job and apartment seemed to me more of an unconcious acknowledgement of where he would end up, than a convenient plot device. Short and a bit bittersweet - [...]

    11. Another great story about mature men in love by the author of No Remedy for Love.

    12. Hhh Another Stockholm-syndrome style story hiding behind the 'love banner'. They all say "But I love him, and he really loves me!"
